Southern Dunes Resort
The Southern Dunes Resort is part of The Red Sea tourist development on the country's western coast.
The resort is will contain 40 villas sheltered by asymmetric timber roofs. The hotel complex will be surrounded by a remote desert landscape built northeast of the town of Umluj, a beach town on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast. The resort is one of two inland hotels being built as part of Phase 1 of The Red Sea, which will see 22 of around 90 uninhabited islands in the Red Sea developed into a tourist resort.
Southern Dunes Resort is another Alpin Commercial- Sustainability Consulting project in Red Sea, KSA
The site-wide roads and Utilities of Phase 1 Civil and Structural Works were provided by Alpin to help the project reach LEED Platinum. On this project, Alpin worked with Al Bawani, a contractor responsible for the on-site earthworks and roadwork, installing concrete and steel structures, mechanical pipework that assisted in water distribution for chilled water, firefighting and irrigating pipelines, and electrical cable pulling.
