Al Qaryan Group (AQG), a leader in the recycling industry, partnered with Alpin to develop its 2023 Sustainability Report in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. The collaboration aimed to showcase AQG’s dedication to sustainability, circular economy principles, emissions reduction, and responsible governance.
As part of Alpin’s support, Sustainability Champions within each department were proposed and established. These champions were tasked with managing disclosures and monitoring performance on an annual basis, ensuring sustainability goals are met consistently.The project advanced AQG’s reporting performance and implemented a structured approach to sustainability governance. The project also encompassed the delivery of a capacity-building workshop aimed at enhancing internal awareness of sustainability and ESG reporting practices.
